Your membership fee supports the ongoing activities of SOPA, which is dedicated to growing the sport of pickleball in Southern Oregon. SOPA activities include:
- Leading the funding efforts to build new, community-based courts in Medford, Ashland and surrounding areas.
- Providing and maintaining equipment at many sites, including nets, barriers, and paddle-holders.
- Organizing clinics, demonstrations and youth-oriented programs that will expand pickleball in the community.
- Developing a program of community-accessible play that will continue to spread the pickleball footprint in the Southern Oregon area.
- Working with other area clubs to help develop programs for inter-community competition.
- Holding USA Pickleball Association tournaments to assure the highest levels of competition are available in the area.
